Poulton Remedial Services LTD first became involved with Helifix in 1996 as wall tie installers and in 1998 as approved Helibeam installers.

The Helifix system has been designed and rigorously tested to deal with these problems using innovative techniques to achieve a repair causing the minimum of disturbance.

Since this time we have successfully completed many projects using the various Helifix products, some of which are detailed here.

Cracking in buildings is a common problem and can broadly be put into four categories.

• Foundation movement.
  Caused by defective drains, tree roots, changes in soil conditions i.e. climatic changes, rises in water table etc.
• Thermal movement.
  Expansion and contraction of different types of building materials - moisture and heat induced.
• Lintel Failure.
  Loss of support due to removal of windows, corrosion of steel, failure of brick arches.
• Chemically Induced Size Changes.
  Embedded metal i.e. wall ties, reinforcing bar.
